Product Description
An Induction furnace ramming material made from Dead Burnt Magnesite clinker in association with Chrome. Specially bonded with clays and other chemical binders to achieve the desired sintering characteristics

MgO – 70% min, Cr2O3 – 8min, SiO2 – 8%max, CaO – 2% max
Sieve Distribution 0-4 and 0-5 mm

Magnesia ramming material is a bulk material made of fused magnesia as raw material, with various superfine  powder additives and fused cement or composite resin as binder .Basic ramming mass mostly refers to the magnesia based refractory mass used as the refractory lining material in the furnace  building.. In non-core induction furnace, EAF hearth, hot and cold  steel launders, we can find the application of the basic ramming mass.

MgO – 74% min, SiO2 – 6%max, Al2O3 – 14% min, CaO – 2%max

NEUTRAL RAMMING MASS – SPINEL

Product Description
An Induction furnace ramming material made from Dead Burnt Magnesite and Alumina. Specially bonded with clays and other chemical binders to achieve the desired sintering characteristics.

Al2O3 – 84% min, MgO- 13% min, SiO2 – 2% max, CaO – 0.5% Max
Sieve Distribution 0-3mm

RAMMING MASS – PATCH

Product Description
This material is designed for repairing the cracks and other erosion that occurs in the lining during usage. It possesses good workability and has no shrinkage upto 1650 °C and has good erosion resisting properties. The chemical composition is similar to the ramming mass but the grading/ binder is different for good workability.

MgO – 87 – 90%, SiO2 – 7-9%, Sieve distribution 0-1 mm

ACIDIC RAMMING MASS

Induction furnaces are used for melting cast iron, mild steel and various alloy steels in foundries and making of steel in mini steel plants using sponge iron

The refined high silicon, low iron quartz sand and quartz powder are selected and the fused quartz sand is added as the refractory material., with no slag, no crack, damp proof, convenience of repair, and the corrosion resistance, thus greatly improving the furnace service life span and the economic benefit..

Silica ramming mass can safely be used up to an operating temperature of 1600 deg C. Since it expands very little, it is superior to both alumina and magnesia refractories to resist thermal shocks

Acid ramming material is the premixed ramming mass of the lining material. The acid ramming mass is used to smelt a series of metal materials such as ordinary steel and carbon steel.

The lining practice best suited to a particular furnace depends upon the capacity and design of the furnace, operation practice adopted during making of a heat, and furnace output.
